Canadean appoints Thorsten Hartmann as Director of Consulting

London - 21st October 2013 - Canadean, the global consumer market research specialist, has appointed Thorsten Hartmann as Director of Consulting. Thorsten joins Canadean from a leading position in the Middle East and North Africa industry market research company, ManSci Professional Services, (formerly known as IMES Research) where he spent 18 years in beverage, dairy and packaging research and consultancy.
Thorsten’s role will be to leverage the industry leading research assets and expertise at Canadean, assisting consumer goods companies and their supplier industries, such as ingredients and packaging, in their market development efforts. He and his team will focus on three core strands in Canadean’s product offering: Food & beverage industry market research;consumer & shopper insights; and knowledge solutions through Canadean Intelligence Centres. Thorsten will focus largely on the EMEA region as well as coordinating global projects, thus complementing Canadean’s established consulting practices in Asia and Latin America. In addition, Thorsten will be involved in the development of Canadean’s new Dairy Information practice, drawing on long experience in consulting projects in the dairy industry.
